Walpole man charged after fatal Hyde Park Rollover

A Walpole resident has been charged with multiple offenses following a rollover incident that claimed the life of one woman, CBS reported on November 15.

42-year-old Jeffrey Mason is facing charges of motor vehicle homicide and fourth offense drunk driving after the 2003 Honda Accord he was driving rolled over at around 2:30 a.m. early Saturday morning on the Enneking Parkway near the intersection of the Turtle Pond Parkway in Hyde Park. His passenger, a woman whose name was not released, was pronounced dead on the scene. He was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital after sustaining injuries. After he recovers from injuries in the hospital, he will be taken into custody by police.

Mason is also facing several other charges, such as leaving the scene of personal injury, speeding, and violating marked lanes.
