One woman was killed in a single vehicle rollover that occurred in Tulsa County on Sunday, November 30, according to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

At around 9:15 p.m., 22-year-old Caitlyn Briscoe of Stillwater was driving a 2009 Chevy Aveo eastbound on U.S. Highway 412 near Willow Road when the car veered to the right and stuck a concrete barrier wall before overturning onto its roof. The driver sustained head and internal injuries, and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Rescuers from the Sand Springs Fire Department had to use Jaws of Life to extract Briscoe, who was pinned in the wreck for an hour and a half.

Authorities said Briscoe was strapped in when the accident happened, and her airbag did function.

The attorneys at the Auto Defects extend their deepest, heart-felt condolences to Caitlyn’s family and friends.
