A blown tire might have been the cause of a single rollover car crash that happened in Kalamazoo County at around 12:45 p.m. Saturday, August 30.
According to Sgt. Jeff Mack from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, a driver and a passenger sustained minor injuries after the four-door Mazda 3 they were occupying overturned as a result of an accident occurring near South Westnedge Ave. near West Crosston Parkway. The driver suspects he blew a tire, which led the car to go off the road, hit a tree, and flip.
The driver was rushed to Bronson Methodist Hospital for treatment.
Any tire defect can cause accidents that may result in a wide range of injuries and property damage. Unfortunately, tire manufacturers sometimes fail to ensure that their products are fault-free. If you believe the rollover incident you had been involved in was a result of a poorly-manufactured tire, a lawyer at the Willis Law Firm might be able to help you secure the compensation you need.
